School Outreach

Our School Outreach Service can work in many ways appropriate to each individual case. We can deliver our 1-1 well-being services in flexible ways, whether virtual, in person, in the home, or in school.

Life Skills Hub offers options of support for children and young people across a wide range of SEND needs from early years to post 16. The basis of our packages is to encourage and improve an individual’s attendance within school.

Whilst doing this we work to up-skill and build on resilience and life skills. Within our work we aim to improve emotional regulation to minimise behavioural disruption and improve understanding of complex, social, emotional and mental health needs.

Hi I'm Louise. I am excited to be working for and be a part of Life Skills Hub and the services they offer to children and young people.

My focus has always been on child centred education and the pastoral care involved in working with children and young adults and building relationships. I enjoy being outdoors in the garden, running or just appreciating nature and the world around us. I am mindful of the therapeutic effect pets can have on us have been known to talk about my guinea pigs, on occasion! I recognise the benefit of being mindful after completing a mindfulness course and try to build this into my day. I also enjoy singing in my Church music group and being a part of my church family.

Hi I am Dan and in my free time I really enjoy travelling to new cities or places, with my friends or by myself, to experience new things. I usually take my camera to capture memories and to use for social media. I’m always trying to think outside of the box to try to capture something that’s unique.

Recently I have learned to snowboard and my goal is to keep improving my technique slowly but surely. Practice makes progress. This hobby to me is all about taking it slow and appreciating the journey.

I'm excited to be working at Life Skills because I quickly realised that education needs to be more flexible than it ever has been. This is because every person has specific needs and here at Life Skills we can tailor the experience to suit the individual.
